Journal of Orthopaedics for Physician Assistants (JOPA) Offers 2016 Writing Awards

JOPA, a peer-reviewed publication that covers all orthopaedic subspecialties for PAs and NPs, is proud to announce that it is now published by The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (JBJS), one of the most highly respected journals in the field of orthopaedics. To welcome JOPA into its family of journals, JBJS is offering $1000 awards for 
• 3 best review articles by a certified, practicing PA or NP 
• 2 best review articles by a PA student at the time of submission. (Students are strongly encouraged to partner with their supervising orthopaedic PA or MD in writing the article.)

What We Are Looking For
Academic reviews of the literature on a broad orthopaedic topic AND concise overviews of a single clinical condition, diagnostic/therapeutic/surgical procedure, or any other topic related to orthopaedics.

Minimum length: 1,200 words (excluding references and figure legends), with a bullet-pointed 100-words abstract.

Deadline for submission
December 31, 2016.

How to Enter
Submit your article, via the JOPA Editorial Manager submission site (www.editorialmanager.com/jopajbjs) for consideration for publication in JOPA. Corresponding authors will be asked whether they wish their article to also be considered for the award. Make sure to adhere to the requirements for Review Articles as outlined in the JOPA Instructions for Authors (http://sites.jbjs.org/jopa/instructions-authors.html).
